Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
A newcomer to the franchise is Aston’s latest flagship, the DBS Superleggera. Bond is retired from MI6 at the start of No Time to Die, so this Q-branch special is the car of ‘new’ 007 Nomi (played by Lashana Lynch).
At the film’s climax, James Bond uses classic Connery-era gadgets to fight the bad guys with his DB5.

Sir David Brown was a tractor manufacturer, who purchased Aston Martin along with Lagonda in an effort to get into the road car business. Ever since it’s been David Brown whose initials have adorned the best Aston Martin has to offer – the DB cars.

Tom Hardy. In early 2020 it was announced, by overexcited newspapers and one very unreliable blog, that Tom Hardy had OFFICIALLY been named the next James Bond. IT’S OFFICIAL. It’s done.
Actually, there were two DB5s in Skyfall. One belongs to EON Productions, the 51-year-old company that owns the Bond franchise.
You can order them directly from the factory and have it delivered by the end of 2017. The original DB4 GTs were produced from 1959 to 1963. Only 75 were made; eight of those were special lightweight limited-edition models. Here’s the catch: They’re only legal for the track.

By continually pushing the boundaries of automotive performance and design, Aston Martin DB models are still as covetable today as they were back in 1948. So what exactly does DB stand for? The DB moniker used on multiple Aston Martin models actually stands for David Brown, who purchased Aston Martin in 1947.

The car, with chassis no. 001, is one of a handful Jaguar C-X75 examples used as stunt cars in Spectre, starring Daniel Craig. While 007 is at the wheel of an Aston Martin DB10, Mr. Hinx, the assassin for the Spectre organization, chases him in a 2015 Jaguar C-X75.
Daniel Craig: 24 cars destroyed.
The current James Bond wrecked some fine rides over the course of four 007 films, including an Aston Martin DB5.
Its The Road-Legal Version Of The Valkyrie
As was briefly touched upon in the introduction, the Valhalla is ostensibly the road-legal version of the equally exciting, but entirely track restricted, Aston Martin Valkyrie.
An incredibly special car with an equally remarkable name. One that immediately evokes connotations of power and honor, of being chosen by the Gods. Only 150 road cars will be made.
“It is an immensely proud moment for us to complete our first-ever hypercar,” said company CEO Tobias Moers. “The Aston Martin Valkyrie program has tested everyone who has worked on it to the limit but the commitment to the dream has produced a truly incredible car, an F1 car for the road.”
In the first novel, Casino Royale, and the 2006 film adaptation, the 00 concept is introduced and, in Bond’s words, means “that you’ve had to kill a chap in cold blood in the course of some assignment“. Bond’s 00 number (007) was awarded to him because he twice killed in fulfilling assignments.
The DB5 is most famous for being the third, but most recognized, James Bond car. The vehicle first appeared in EON Productions’ 1964 film Goldfinger and went on to appear in Thunderball (1965), GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Casino Royale (2006), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time To Die (2021).
