G37 Convertible was introduced in June 2009 media release as a 2009 model on the V36 FM platform and is only from a design perspective based on the G Coupe.
The Infiniti G37 Reliability Rating is 4.0 out of 5.0, which ranks it 8th out of 31 for luxury midsize cars. The average annual repair cost is $540 which means it has lower than average ownership costs. While repairs are more common, these issues are less likely to be severe than with other cars.
As for the Infiniti G37’s engine, thanks to its Japanese roots, it can last for more than 150,000 miles according to the reports and reviews made by many Infiniti G37 car owners. Of course, an engine can last more than 100,000 miles with proper care and maintenance.
The 2011 Infiniti G37 is the kind of fun-to-drive car that often flies beneath the metaphorical radar. Just keep in mind that the G37 is so powerful it almost literally flies, so caution is needed when pushing it in speed zones.
The curtains close in 2013. In 2013, the G37 was only offered in a choice of three trim levels. It maintained its competitive status in the luxury sport auto market, but it was nearing the end of its life cycle.
The G37 is available as a four-door sedan, two-door coupe, and two-door retractable-hardtop convertible. All models are powered by a 3.7-liter V-6, producing 325 hp, 328 hp, 330 hp, or 348 hp, depending on trim and bodystyle.
The fastest G35 is the 2007 RWD Sedan with the 6-speed manual transmission. The fastest G37 is the 2009 RWD Sedan with the 7-speed automatic transmission. While every G37 has a ¼ mile time of 14 seconds or faster, only one G35 does. While the 60 times are similar, the G37 models have a slight edge over almost every G35.
They are just as fast. Their ET and trap speed are identical considering the 60ft times are similar. I personally have seen a 60-150 run with G37 coupe 6MT and the 08 G35 6MT and no one pulled an inch on the other car. On the other hand 09 G37 sedan is quicker than its coupe counterpart.
The infiniti g37 takes premium unleaded fuel that has an octane rating of 91 or higher.

Take care of your Infiniti G37 and it’ll take care of you. If you put in the effort to keep up with proper maintenance, you could hit 200,000 miles (or beyond!) in your G37.
There is no way that you can ‘drift’ in a automatic transmission car.

With a top speed of 155 mph, the Infiniti G37 Cabrio takes joint first place. It’s a 2 door RWD Convertible with 4 seats and a front-mounted 3.7L V6 Gas engine.
You’ll basically need to make sure you get all the sensors and systems off the G37 and integrate them into the G35. Just having the engine out of the G37 doesn’t help.
