Considering its original MSRP, you can see that just about any Lancer Evolution is still worth over 50 percent of its original value, even for those that over a decade old!
The evo is made in a vastly lower quantity as its not the car Mitsubishi is making its money off of. Because there are far more WRX/STIs produced than Evos. Evos actually have fairly low production numbers comparatively. STIs are more of the “fad” car.

Evo 7 or any non-US specifically made models are not legal, by letter of the law: no exception here. However there are few “early”/non-US-specific Evo models “legally” registered.
Yes they are rare! There is someone selling one on this forum. evo 7’s rare because it was never import to US. Why get evo 7 when the IX is the best version available in US.
If you don’t abuse the car and maintain it properly it should last 200,000 miles or more. It’s avery strong, sturdy car. The EVO is made to run hard and fast and should last a long time if not driven hard or mistreated.
The 2019 mitsubishi evo 10 cost is $76,400.
When it comes to to the 2011 stock models, the Evo is the clear winner. It keeps up and even eclipses the extremely well engineered STi’s vehicle control capabilities. The Evo VI Extreme is the rarest Evo of them all, with only 29 being built, which also makes it one of the most collectible. It was built by Ralliart UK and launched in 1999.

If you’re looking for raw performance, the Lancer Evo has the WRX beat by a fairly significant margin, especially in the torque department.

A well cared for Evo should hit over 170k before any “major” problems start coming up. To each his/her own, but in my opinion anything over 250 hp is not a good 1st car.
This 1,700-hp Mitsubishi Evo is the quickest in the world.
