The 2015 Scion xB comes in at just under $18,000 when you include the $770 destination charge. That’s with a manual transmission. If you’d rather have the 4-speed automatic (again, we suggest skipping it), you’ll pay about $19,000.
The value of a used 2006 Scion xB ranges from $952 to $4,828, based on vehicle condition, mileage, and options.
The value of a used 2010 Scion xB ranges from $2,204 to $9,487, based on vehicle condition, mileage, and options.
Very reliable and strong at 345k miles
This xB is extremely inexpensive and shares the same motor as the Prius. 2006 and prior year models are known to last 300k plus miles. My last xB showed 450k miles when I sold it to a friend who now has over 500k miles on it!
Toyota
Toyota, the parent company behind the Scion brand, had decided to discontinue this youth-focused nameplate in August 2016 and most of the Scion-branded models have been rebadged as Toyotas. The rear-drive FR-S (rebadged Toyota 86) is a drift-ready two-door coupe.

The Scion xB is a compact car (subcompact car in its first generation) made by Scion, a now-defunct fully owned division of Toyota, for the United States market. It is a box-shaped, 5-door hatchback.

The 2010 Scion xB is a capable compact people mover and cargo hauler that packs a decent underhood punch. Fuel economy is lackluster, however, and the unconventional styling isn’t for everyone.

The IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) pronunciation we give for scion is ˈsī-ən. For those who don’t read IPA easily another way to think of it is that scion is pronounced like sigh & un, with the emphasis placed on the sigh.
The 2016 Scion tC isn’t the fastest or most nimble sports coupe in its class, and reviewers complain that it rides harshly on rough pavement. However, as long as you’re not expecting overly thrilling driving dynamics, auto writers say you’ll find the tC to be a satisfactory choice.

Scion seemed to have lost the target audience it initially wanted to attract. These youthful customers were perfectly happy buying existing Toyota vehicles. Because of this, it made more sense for the parent company to integrate Scion’s cars into its main lineup. The Scion brand was officially discontinued in 2016.
Despite the Scion xB’s boxy looks, this is no SUV, and there’s no AWD available. There’s not enough power to accelerate quickly, much less tow anything, and the center-mounted gauges remain a peculiarity, different for the sake of being different.
