Acceleration and Power
The base 2016 BMW 320i has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower, while the 328i comes with a 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
BMW 328i sedans have a 240-horespower, turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and either the six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. … They write that the 3-Series’ turbocharged four-cylinder engines have very little turbo lag, and that they provide ample power and good fuel economy.
The 330i features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
The top speed of the 328i is an electronically limited 130 mph. The 335i is significantly faster to 60 mph, as it performs the highway-speed sprint in 5.1 seconds with the auto transmission or 5.4 seconds with the optional manual. The 335i shares the 328i’s 130-mph top speed.
BMW 328i coupes and convertibles have a 230-horsepower, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine and either a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. … All 3-Series models come with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available on sedan and coupe models.

Very very different engines – N52 is actually the more advanced design, lighter with magnesium and aluminum constuction, N54 is also a 2 piece design, but an all aluminum engine, so block, heads, intake, pretty much everything is different except some of the accessories that bolt onto it, like the electric water pump, …

BMW M5 CS
Introduced in 2021, the BMW M5 CS is the most powerful production car from the German manufacturer. Rated at 627 horsepower, the 4.4-liter V-8 trumps the larger V-10 and V-12 engines from the past and enables the M5 CS to outgun all M-badged Bimmers produced thus far.Feb 8, 2021
