According to researchers, the average cost to build a ford f-150 is about $27,000, which ford usually makes about $13,000 in profit on.
The Ford Motor Company sold 787,422 F-series trucks in 2020.
Over the past three years, Ford averaged about 900,000 F-150’s sold per year. If you divide that by 365, it sells 2,486 F-150 trucks per day, every day. That translates to 103 F-150 pickups per hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Given the 2016 F-150’s sales numbers topped 820,000 units, we don’t think you’ll have much trouble finding exactly the model you’re looking for in a used truck.

The Ford F150 makes a gross profit margin of $10,000 to $13,000/vehicle. It sells 800,000 F150s each year, for a profit of $8 billion or more on just the F150s.
